The airport Burg al-ʿArab ( IATA code HBE , ICAO code HEBA , Arabic مطار برج العرب الدولي, DMG Maṭār Burǧ al-ʿArab ad-Daulī ) is the smaller of the two airports of Alexandria in northern Egypt after Alexandria Airport . Alexandria Airport has been the only airport in the city since it closed in 2011 for renovations.
