The airport Hefei Xinqiao ( Chinese 合肥新桥国际机场 , Pinyin Hefei Xinqiao Guoji Jīchǎng ; English: Hefei Xinqiao International Airport ) is a Chinese civilian airport . It is located in the Gaoliu Parish of Feixi County, Hefei City, and is over 30 km from the city center. The airport is in class 4E. Eleven million passengers a year are initially expected.
Currently still under construction, the newly built, internationally oriented airport is expected to open on February 25, 2013. The current Hefei-Luogang Airport will be replaced by the Hefei-Xinqiao Airport.
