The Hiroshima Airport ( Jap.広島空港, Hiroshima Kuko ) is a regional airport in the Japanese city of Mihara . It is located about 50 kilometers east of the city of Hiroshima . Hiroshima Airport is a 2nd class airport according to Japanese law .
incident
On April 14, 2015, Asiana Airlines Flight 166 , an Airbus A320 , which took off from Incheon Airport , turned 180 ° on landing in Hiroshima and stopped next to the runway . 22 passengers were injured and there was considerable damage to the aircraft .
