The Aeropuerto Francisco Carle is the regional airport in the Peruvian city of Huancayo . It is located about 40 kilometers northwest of Huancayo, on the eastern outskirts of the city of Jauja .

Incidents
On March 28, 2017, a Peruvian Airlines Boeing 737-300 with the registration number OB-2036-P came off the runway while landing on Francisco Carlé and caught fire. All 141 inmates survived, 29 were treated for injuries.
