The airport Kaduqli ( English Kaduqli Airport ) is a commercial airport in the city of Kaduqli in Sudan .
history
The airport is used by the United Nations Mission In Sudan for operations in the region.
In June 2011 the Sudan People's Armed Forces attacked Kaduqli. The air strikes used were aimed specifically at take-off and landing runways.
Equipment and operation
To enable 24-hour operation of the airport, solar-powered flight path lighting from Carmanah is to be installed (as of September 2005).
