The Kosrae International Airport is the airport of the island Kosrae the Federated States of Micronesia . Its peculiarity is that it was built on an artificial island in the sea within the reef belt of the island. There was simply not enough flat land on the island for an airport.
On average, there are fewer than ten flights a week that fly to the airport. There is an opportunity to rent a car at the terminal.
