The Mae Sot Airport ( Thai : ท่าอากาศยาน แม่สอด ; IATA code : MAQ ; ICAO code : vTPM ) is the regional airport of the city of Mae Sot , Tak Province in the northern region of Thailand .
Location and general
It is located about 5 kilometers west of the city center of Mae Sot and 85 kilometers west of the provincial capital Tak , very close to the border with Myanmar . It has an asphalt runway at 210 meters above sea level with a length of 1500 meters.
