The Noto Airport ( Jap. 能登空港 , Noto-Kuko ) is a small commercial airport in the city of Wajima in Japan , Ishikawa Prefecture . The airport is about 12 kilometers southeast of Wajima's city center on the Noto Peninsula . From here there are currently (2009) only domestic connections. Noto Airport is a 3rd class airport according to Japanese law .
The airport is also known regionally as Wajima Airport .
