The Aeropuerto Internacional de Rivera "Presidente Gral. (PAM) Oscar D. Gestido" ( IATA airport code : RVY - ICAO airport code: SURV), also called Aeropuerto Internacional Cerro Chapeau , is an airport in Uruguay .

The airport, which opened on June 16, 1979, is located in northern Uruguay around ten kilometers southeast of the city of Rivera in the department of the same name . There it is located near the border with Brazil to the north-west of the airport. A few kilometers to the west runs the Ruta 27, which connects to the Ruta 5 in the direction of Montevideo . There is a mountain near the airport that resembles a hat in appearance. Hence the alternative name Aeropuerto Internacional Cerro Chapeau comes from .

The runway has a capacity of up to 30 tons, which allows use by aircraft the size of a Boeing 737 . The airport terminal is designed for round-the-clock operation for refueling with Jet A1 and naphtha and has immigration and customs processing.
