The Siem Reap airport ( Khmer : អាកាសយានដ្ឋាន អន្តរជាតិ សៀមរាប . English Siem Reap International Airport ) is an international airport in Cambodia . It is located 8 kilometers northwest of Siem Reap , near the Angkor Wat temple complex . The official opening of the new airport terminal was on August 28, 2006, the area of ​​the airport was expanded in 2016.
