The Zrenjanin airfield with grass runway, due to its geographical location also Ečka airfield , ( Serbian : Аеродром 3peњaнин / Aerodrom Zrenjanin ) is located in the Serbian autonomous province of Vojvodina , about 5 kilometers southeast of the city of Zrenjanin . It is considered the largest class C airfield on the Balkan Peninsula . Light aircraft up to 5.7 t MTOW are permitted.
