The Foley Glacier is a 6 km long glacier at the western end of Thurston Island off the Eights coast of the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . It flows into the Bellingshausen Sea immediately east of Cape Petersen .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 2003 after Kevin M. Foley of the United States Geological Survey , a computer specialist in the group for creating maps to determine glacier and coastal changes in Antarctica .
