Folk Ridge is a mountain ridge in East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Caudal Hills it rises immediately southeast of Moore Ridge .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1964. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1969 after John E. Folk, a biolab technician at McMurdo Station from 1965 to 1966.
