Forari is a place on the island of Efate in the Shefa province in the Pacific island state of Vanuatu .

The place is located on the east coast of the island of Efate, on Forari Bay (Baie Metensa), and is one of the most important ports in Vanuatu. The closest places are Poi and Pangpang . The place is known for its manganese mine, which was mined by French operators from 1962 to 1979. The ore deposits extend over an area of ​​25 km².
