Ford Trophy 2018/19

The Ford Trophy 2018/19 was the 48th National List-A cricket - Championship in New Zealand . The competition was held between October 24th and November 30th 2018 between the six New Zealand first-class teams. In the final Wellington was able to prevail against Otago with 3 wickets .

format

The six teams play in a group twice against each of the other teams. There are four points for a win, two for a draw or no result and no point for a loss. A bonus point is awarded if your own run rate exceeds that of your opponent by 1.25 times. Furthermore, it is possible that teams are deducted points if, for example, they play too slowly. The first in the group qualifies directly for the final, while the second and third in the group qualify for a semi-final.
