Ford Trophy 2019/20
The Ford Trophy 2019/20 is the 49th staging of the National List-A cricket - Championship in New Zealand . The competition will be played between November 17, 2019 and February 16, 2020 between the six New Zealand first-class teams. In the final, Auckland won against Otago with 2 wickets .
format
The six teams play in a group twice against each of the other teams. There are four points for a win, two for a draw or no result and no point for a loss. A bonus point is awarded if your own run rate exceeds that of your opponent by 1.25 times. Furthermore, it is possible that teams are deducted points if, for example, they play too slowly. The first in the group qualifies directly for the final, while the second and third in the group qualify for a semi-final.
