Formula 1 Simulator is a racing game that was implemented and published for various home computers from 1984 onwards .

Gameplay

This Formula 1 simulation is about increasing the high score on ten racetracks with each completed lap . You have eight laps to do this and you have to do it within the time limit. Most courses are vaguely reminiscent of their role models such as Monaco , Monza , Silverstone , Zandvoort or the Österreichring .

The implementation for the Commodore 264 series has only one route that is reminiscent of the Fuji Speedway .

The game received mixed reviews, in particular the implementation for the Commodore 264 series was praised and is still considered one of the best and most famous games there today:

Remarks

With 568,015 units sold, it was Mastertronic's most successful game. Rob Hubbard, who is known for his compositions, was responsible for the music.

The selling price was in the budget range: 9.95 DM or £ 1.99.
