The Forschungsgesellschaft Landschaftsentwicklung Landschaftsbau e. V. (FLL) is an organization for gardening, landscaping and sports field construction in Germany founded in 1975 . As of 2016, experts in 62 specialist bodies were volunteering for the FLL.
In accordance with its statutes, the FLL pursues exclusively and directly non-profit purposes to promote science and research for landscape development and landscaping in the areas of fundamentals, planning, execution and production as well as the development and dissemination of principles and guidelines in these areas. The association is financed through membership fees and the sale of the rules and other publications. The activities of the FLL should be product and system neutral. In some specialist standards ( DIN standards ) for gardening and landscaping , express reference is made to FLL publications or the procedures mentioned there.
Technical or subject areas of the FLL are for example the sealing of waters , construction and vegetation, tree control , roof , disposal of waste in Galaba , traffic surfaces on buildings and infiltration and water retention . The FLL has a total of 34 member associations (professional and professional associations).
