The Forsthaus Böllenfalltor is a building in Darmstadt .

History and description

The two-storey wooden house with coach house was built between 1931 and 1933. The architect was probably the government building officer Emil Hofmann. Stylistically, the building belongs to the traditionalism of the prewar period.

The structure has a simple structure with a symmetrical structure, a striking horizontal inverted formwork and a beaver-tail-covered hipped roof .

The coach house - built from the same materials - is at right angles to the house.

Monument protection

Today the former forester's house serves as a residential building. For architectural and city history reasons, the building is a cultural monument .
