Julie Basta
Julie Basta , actually Julie Pollack , married Julie Basta-Seidl ( 1847 in Prague - March 11, 1899 in Kiel ) was a German opera singer ( soprano ).
Life
Basta's career was just as successful as that of her brother Eduard Basta . She had engagements from 1870 to 1871 at the Deutsche Oper Rotterdam, from 1871 to 1872 at the City Theater Posen, from 1872 to 1873 at the Theater Bern (Switzerland), from 1873 to 1874 at the Opera House in Düsseldorf, from 1874 to 1875 at the City Theater Regensburg, from 1875 Until 1877 at the Stadttheater Ulm, from 1877 to 1879 at the Stadttheater Barmen and from 1879 to 1880 at the Cologne Opera House.
She was married to the conductor Hans Seidl (1841–1917).
