NGC 6066 is a 14.1 mag bright spiral galaxy of the Hubble type S? in the constellation Snake at the celestial equator . It is an estimated 464 million light years from the Milky Way and about 95,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 6065 , NGC 6074 , IC 1169 .
The object was discovered by Lewis A. Swift on June 19, 1887 .
