NGC 6058 is a 12.9 likes bright planetary nebula in the constellation Hercules and about 3540 parsecs from Earth. It was discovered on March 18, 1787 by Wilhelm Herschel with an 18.7-inch reflector telescope, who noted "vF, eS, 300 power shewed 2 vS stars with nebulosity".
