NGC 6083 is a 14.6 likes bright spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sb in the constellation Hercules at the northern sky , the estimated 418 million light-years from the Milky Way 's center.
The object was discovered on June 21, 1876 by the French astronomer Édouard Stephan .
