NGC 6062 is a 13.4  likes bright barred spiral galaxy with an active galactic nucleus from Hubble type "SBBC" in the constellation Hercules at the northern sky . It is estimated to be 528 million light years from the Milky Way and about 185,000 light years in diameter. Together with PGC 57146 it forms the gravitationally bound galaxy pair Holm 728 . In the same area of ​​the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 6052 and NGC 6064 .

The object was discovered on June 20, 1884 by Édouard Stephan .
