NGC 6060 is a 13.4 likes bright barred spiral galaxy of Hubble type SBc in the constellation Hercules at the northern sky . It is an estimated 203 million light years from the Milky Way and about 120,000 light years in diameter. In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 6032 , NGC 6035 , NGC 6052 , NGC 6064 .
The type IIb supernova SN 1997dd was observed here.
The object was discovered on June 22, 1876 by Édouard Stephan .
