NGC 6035 is a 13.6 mag barred spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SAB (rs) c in the constellation Hercules in the northern sky , which is an estimated 217 million light years away from the Milky Way .
The object was discovered on June 9, 1880 by Édouard Stephan .
