NGC 6011 is a 13.5 mag barred spiral galaxy of the Hubble type Sb in the constellation Little Bear and about 342 million light years from the Milky Way.
It was discovered on March 16, 1785 by Wilhelm Herschel with an 18.7-inch reflector telescope, who described it as "vF, vS, lE".
