NGC 6005 is an open cluster from Trumpler type I1p in the constellation angular (Norma) at the southern sky . It has an angular extension of 5.0 'and an apparent magnitude of 10.7 mag.
The pile was discovered by James Dunlop on May 8, 1826 .
