NGC 6002 is a single star in the constellation Northern Crown ( right ascension : 15: 47: 44.4; declination : +28: 36: 36). It was mistaken for a galaxy by Lawrence Parsons during an observation on April 20, 1873 , and thus got an entry in the catalog.
