The forester's house Neuhof is a former forester's house in the area of ​​the Rhineland-Palatinate community of Achtelsbach and is one of the community's cultural monuments . It was built in 1855 on the site of a manorial estate, from which it got its name, and is one of the oldest buildings of the Oldenburg forest administration.

The forester's house is located northwest of the village south of the Friedrichskopf below the so-called Tirolerstein . It stands on the site of a former courtyard. Their hereditary tenants have been handed down since the 18th century, the property itself has not been preserved.

description

The simple building is divided into two halves, to the west a residential and farm building for the forester, to the east an apartment for two foresters. It was built in half-timbered construction. The eaves side is structured by six axes, the upper floor is largely clad with slate.

Associated with it is an economic building on the south side.
