The Friedrichskopf rises in the Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park in the area of ​​the municipality of Brücken , the core of which is 4.4 km southeast of the summit. About 2 km north-north-west is Muhl (neighboring district of Trier-Saarburg ), 3.3 km east -south- east Abentheuer , 2.7 km south-west Zinsershütten and 3.5 km north-north-east Börfink . The Bleidenbach , which flows into the Traunbach , rises on the southern slope of the mountain , and the Allbach , which feeds the Prims, rises on the western slope .
