The forester's house was managed as a hut with a beer garden from the 1960s, initially by the Palatinate Forest Association Kaiserslautern, and from 1983 by the Palatinate Forest Association local group Weidenthal / Frankenstein . The hut has been managed by Tim Heckmann since March 2014.
