Exhaust air

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In air conditioning technology, exhaust air is the exhaust air blown outside . This means that the air can no longer be used for air conditioning. Before that, however, energy can be extracted from the air with heat or cold recovery and this can be fed back into the process.

For a qualitative classification, the exhaust air (as well as the exhaust air ) is divided into four categories:

  • Category EHA -1  : Air from rooms, the main emissions of which are building materials and human metabolism
  • Category EHA -2  : Air from rooms with the same source of pollution as EHA -1, but with more human activity and smoking permission
  • Category EHA -3  : Air from rooms in which moisture and chemicals are released
  • Category EHA -4  : Air that contains odors and pollution beyond the permitted level
