Air types

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In ventilation and air conditioning technology, air types characterize the various air flows with regard to their use. The names, abbreviations and color codes of the air types have been harmonized across Europe since September 2007. The following scheme and table provide an overview.

In particular, the outside air , indoor air , exhaust air and exhaust air are divided into categories for uniform, qualitative classification.

DIN EN 16798-3: 2017 replaces DIN EN 13779: 2007-09.
