Supply air

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In air conditioning technology , supply air denotes the air supplied to the premises. The supply air can be pretreated by filtering, heating, cooling and humidifying or dehumidifying.

The supply air quality must be such that a suitable indoor air quality is achieved in buildings despite the expected loads from internal sources of pollution (building materials, production processes, human metabolism, smoking, circulating air , furniture, ...). So that the outside air volume flow is not increased due to energy consumption, increased effort has been made in recent years to minimize internal pollution.
