Photo design

Fotodesign describes the way to design visually through photography . The term was popularized by Walter E. Lautenbacher and serves to distinguish it from the pure training profession of the photographer . Photo design encompasses the creative and artistic examination of the media of photo and film or video . Photographic and design aspects such as questions of room layout and advertising aspects are used. Post-processing and finishing are carried out using graphics software .

Education

Photo design can be studied in a seven-semester course in the design department. The training focuses on the artistic, creative, technical and scientific areas. In the artistic field, color theory , the basics of photographic design and various types of photography such as portrait photography , architectural photography , photo journalism , fashion photography , documentary photography and experimental photography are the main focus of training.
