Frédéric Da Rocha (born September 16, 1974 in Cenon ) is a former French football player .

Career

Frédéric Da Rocha is a Nanter veteran. The midfielder has been in the professional squad of the traditional French club since the 1995/96 season; previously he went through the youth departments of the club. He played his first game in Division 1 in September 1995. Da Rocha experienced ups and downs with FC Nantes. So he was able to win the French championship , the national cup and the Supercup . In 2007 he had to relegate to Ligue 2 with Nantes , but returned in 2008 with the team in the top division.

For FC Nantes he has played 350 first division games so far and was able to mark 44 goals (as of August 5, 2008) . In 2009, the midfielder moved from Ligue 1 relegated FC Nantes to US Boulogne . After playing in 30 Ligue 1 games for Boulogne, he moved to USJA Carquefou in the summer of 2010 . There he ended his professional career in June 2011 and switched to coaching for FC Tignieu-Jameyzieu in the Division d'Honneur Régionale (DHR).

He has also been used in the French B national team .
