Cenon is a French city with 24,729 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Gironde department in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It is located in the Arrondissement of Bordeaux and is the capital (French: chef-lieu ) of its own canton .
Cenon is located in the eastern suburbs of Bordeaux east of the Garonne . The community is served by tram and bus lines of the TBC .
