Saint-Médard-d'Eyrans is a French village with 2,971 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Gironde department in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The municipality is located in the closer catchment area of the northern city of Bordeaux, about 20 km away .
The municipality belongs to the canton of La Brède in the Arrondissement of Bordeaux and to the Communauté de Communes de Montesquieu , an association of 13 municipalities south of Bordeaux.
