Beychac-et-Caillau ( Occitan : Baishac e Calhau ) is a commune with 2,227 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Gironde department in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The municipality is located in the Arrondissement of Bordeaux and is part of the canton of La Presqu'île . The inhabitants are called Beychacais-et-Caillalais .

Beychac-et-Caillau is located about 15 kilometers east-northeast of Bordeaux . Beychac-et-Caillau is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Sulpice-et-Cameyrac in the north, Vayres in the east, Saint-Germain-du-Puch in the southeast, Sallebœuf in the south and southwest, Pompignac in the west and southwest and Montussan in the west.
The A89 autoroute runs through the municipality .
