Saint-Germain-du-Puch is a French village with 2,156 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Gironde in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine ; it belongs to the Arrondissement Libourne and the canton Les Coteaux de Dordogne (until 2015: Canton Branne ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Germainais .

geography

Saint-Germain-du-Puch is about 20 kilometers east of Bordeaux and about eight kilometers southwest of Libourne . Saint-Germain-du-Puch is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Vayres in the north, Arveyres in the northeast, Nérigean in the east, Baron in the southeast, Croignon in the south, Camarsac in the southwest, Sallebœuf in the west and southwest and Beychac-et-Caillau in the west and Northwest.
