Belvès-de-Castillon ( Occitan Belves de Castilhon ) is a southwestern French community with 333 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Gironde department in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Aquitaine ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Libourne and the canton of Les Coteaux de Dordogne (until 2015 Castillon-la-Bataille ). The inhabitants are called Belvésiens .
location
Belvès-de-Castillon is located about fifty kilometers east-northeast of Bordeaux . Belvès-de-Castillon is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Gardegan-et-Tourtirac in the north, Saint-Michel-de-Montaigne in the east, Castillon-la-Bataille in the south, Saint-Magne-de-Castillon in the southwest and Sainte-Colombe in the West.
