Saint-Ciers-d'Abzac is located about 32 kilometers northeast of Bordeaux . The Saye River forms the western boundary of the municipality. Saint-Ciers-d'Abzac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Tizac-de-Lapouyade in the north and north-west, Maransin in the north and north-east, Saint-Martin-du-Bois in the south and east, Galgon in the south and Périssac in the west and south-west.
