Saint-Ciers-d'Abzac is a southwestern French municipality with 1446 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Gironde in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Libourne and the canton of Le Nord-Libournais (until 2015: canton of Guîtres )

Saint-Ciers-d'Abzac is located about 32 kilometers northeast of Bordeaux . The Saye River forms the western boundary of the municipality. Saint-Ciers-d'Abzac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Tizac-de-Lapouyade in the north and north-west, Maransin in the north and north-east, Saint-Martin-du-Bois in the south and east, Galgon in the south and Périssac in the west and south-west.
