Saint-Michel-de-Fronsac is a French commune in the Gironde department in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The municipality is located in the closer catchment area of the city of Libourne . It has 522 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017), a number that has barely changed over the past 40 years.
