Les Billaux is a southwestern French municipality with 1191 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Gironde in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Aquitaine ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Libourne and the canton of Le Libournais-Fronsadais (until 2015 Libourne ). The inhabitants are called Billaudais .

location

Les Billaux is located about 28 kilometers northeast of Bordeaux on the Isle , which borders the municipality to the north and west. Les Billaux is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Savignac-de-l'Isle in the north, Saint-Denis-de-Pile in the north-east, Lalande-de-Pomerol in the east, Libourne in the south, Saillans in the west and south-west and Galgon in the north-west.

The A89 autoroute runs through the municipality .
