Rauzan is a commune with 1,211 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Gironde department in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Aquitaine ); it belongs to the Arrondissement Libourne and the canton Les Coteaux de Dordogne (until 2015 Pujols ). The inhabitants are called Rauzannais .
geography
Rauzan is about 45 kilometers east-southeast of Bordeaux . Rauzan is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Jean-de-Blaignac in the north and north-west, Saint-Vincent-de-Pertignas in the north, Blasimon in the south and east, Jugazan in the west, Naujan-et-Postiac in the west and north-west and Saint- Aubin-de-Branne in the northwest.
