Saint-Magne-de-Castillon ( Occitan : Sent Manhe de Castilhon ) is a southwestern French municipality with 1998 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Gironde department in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Libourne and the canton of Les Coteaux de Dordogne (until 2015: Canton Castillon-la-Bataille ).

Saint-Magne-de-Castillon is about 30 kilometers east of Bordeaux . The Dordogne river limits the municipality to the south. Surrounded saint-Magne-de-Castillon from the neighboring communities of Sainte-Colombe in the north, Belvès-de-Castillon in the Northeast, Castillon-la-Bataille in the east, Mouliets-et-Villemartin in the southeast, Saint-Pey-de-Castets and Civrac-sur-Dordogne in the south, Sainte-Terre in the southwest, Saint-Pey-d'Armens in the west and Saint-Étienne-de-Lisse in the northwest.
The former route nationale 136 (today's D936) runs through the municipality .
