Maransin is located about 35 kilometers northeast of Bordeaux . Maransin is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Lapouyade in the north and north-west, Cercoux in the north and north-east, Bayas in the east, Saint-Martin-de-Laye in the south-east, Saint-Martin-du-Bois in the south, and Saint-Ciers-d'Abzac in the West and Tizac-de-Lapouyade to the west.
