Lugaignac is a French village with 479 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Gironde department in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Aquitaine ); it belongs to the Arrondissement of Libourne and the canton of Les Coteaux de Dordogne (until 2015 Branne ). The inhabitants are called Lugaignacais .
geography
Lugaignac is about 36 kilometers east-southeast of Bordeaux . Lugaignac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Grézillac in the north and west, Branne in the north and northeast, Saint-Aubin-de-Branne in the east, Naujan-et-Postiac in the south and Guillac in the west and southwest.
