Saint-Quentin-de-Baron is a French village with 2,442 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Gironde in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine ; it belongs to the Arrondissement Libourne and the canton Les Coteaux de Dordogne (until 2015: Canton Branne ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Quentinais .

geography

Saint-Quentin-de-Baron is about 25 kilometers east of Bordeaux and about ten kilometers south of Libourne . Saint-Quentin-de-Baron is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Nérigean in the north, Tizac-de-Curton in the east, Espiet in the southeast, Camiac-et-Saint-Denis in the south and Baron in the west.

The former route nationale 136 (today's D936) runs through the municipality .
